Bill & Jason's Apartment

Located in a generic apartment building of a type seen all across the US and Canada, Bill and Jason live as roommates in this typical 2 bedroom apartment. They keep it well furnished, with Bill spending far too much of his money on high-tech entertainment gear, leaving Jason to fill out the rest of the place with such trivial details as couches, chairs and other 'merely functional' items. Fortunately Jason is at least slightly sensible about such things, despite his frequent distraction with Bill's high-tech collection.

Abby's House, Brenda's Apartment

Some time ago, Abby inherited a gorgeous but very run-down old house from her grandparents and moved in. She immediately fell in love with its architectural charm, and spent some time renovating and restoring the place. In order to keep up the payments though, she needed to share the costs with someone, so she let Brenda move in, turning the basement into a semi-separate basement apartment.

Aurum Solis

The occult bookstore Abby works at. She loves her job, though she does find that she gets odd looks at times from the primarily suburban inhabitants of Glennsville, and the accusations of witchcraft and other nonsense do get tiresome after a while. The store itself is neat, if somewhat musty. The pay isn't great, but Mr. Murdoch, the store's owner, is a pleasant man to work for and doesn't mind if she reads while there are no customers around - which is a lot of the time.

The Ground Up

A quaint, quiet little coffee house, The Ground Up is the preferred hangout spot for our heroes on cold or quiet nights.

Sweetsweat Gym & Sauna

Brenda works here, at the Sweetsweat Gym & Sauna. It's not a bad little place to keep up your health and well-being, though Brenda has yet to have any luck convincing Bill, Jason or Abby to sign up for any of her classes. She teaches kickboxing at a recreational level after her classes at Glennsville University.

Glennsville University

Though small for a University, Glennsville U. is generally well-regarded. Jason works here as a writer-in-residence, and both he and Bill are graduates. Brenda is also connected with the University, where she's taking courses ranging from computer science to marketing to prehistory.

Glennsville Public Library

A typical though surprisingly modern small-town library. In addition to a decent selection of books, including the requisite sci-fi/fantasy section, the Library boasts decent connection speeds on its public Internet access terminals.

The Pit House

Glennsville's most popular university bar, the Pit House isn't nearly as scummy as the name implies it is. Honestly, it's not. Really. It got its nickname 'Spit Out' from the popular mispronunciation of the establishment's name closer to last call.

"That" Old House

There's one in every town, somewhere. That old house that the other kids warn you never to go near, that your parents do their best to ensure you never see. Nobody knows for certain what goes on in there, what might once have happened, but surely it must be pretty awful, right?
